Trekking through the Topics
No matter what stage of our teaching careers we are at, we all need help to generate ideas for the classroom sometimes. If people share their ideas on how to teach a topic, ideas can be developed and adopted by other people facing the same challenge. Therefore I have designed the website 'Exploring Geography' as part of my PGCE, to help myself and other people to recap topics and to think of ways to teach KS3 and KS4 Geography in secondary schools.
This site breaks down Geography into manageable bite-size chunks using sub-topics in human and physical Geography. On each sub-topic page you will find six sections, including:

- A brief outline of what students should ideally already know,
- Curriculum specifications and details about the knowledge required,
- A list of key terminology,
- Ideas for teaching this knowledge in secondary schools,

- How a topic is inter-linked with others,
